Philosophy

The nature of Booth & Witherspoon Investments Incorporated can be summed up by a statement made by billionaire investor Richard Rainwater in the December 26, 2005 issue of Fortune Magazine.."Most people invest and then sit around worrying when the next blowup will be. I do the opposite. I wait for the blowup, then invest." BWI follows this overall ideal while being proactive and passionate about meeting our clients' expectations. The things that we don't wait on are opportunities, we like to try and create them.

The BWI Story

Booth & Witherspoon Investments was founded in March of 2005 by two frustrated and broke best friends, the late Jay Witherspoon and Antwain Booth. They felt they needed a means to take advantage of their entrepreneurial and creative natures. The simple idea was to put our knowledge and skill in action by creating and pursuing opportunities with partners across multiple industries. They knew we could connect these opportunities together to keep costs low but effectiveness high.
